The EACC has released a press statement for the arrest of suspects in connection with the inflation of 2.5b used to construct Lake basin shopping mall in Kisumu.
The suspects in press statement include Innocent Obiri, Lydia Owino, Vincent Oreng, Zhang Jing, John Yang, Oscar Ogunde, Symbion Kenya Limited, Edermann Property Limited and others.
The statement further directs the suspects immediately be arrested and arraigned in a court of law with the following charges Consipiracy to defraud, receiving benefits corruptly, abuse of office, failure to comply with the the law among others.
The press release comes a year and a few months after the shameful arrest of innocent Obiri in connection with Nyamonema quarry activities.
