OSC RAGIRA, UON STUDENT LEADER REPEATEDLY SHOT DEAD.

It is sad to learn about the assassination of OCS  Ragira who was a student leader in the University of Nairobi.

Information reaching my desk is, OSC Ragira who was famous in leading strikes in the UoN posted on  his Facebook account about assailants who threatened to kill him after exposing plans by cartels to buy klabu market 36.

On his Facebook account, he had also exposed how unknown armed people (Mungiki) with pangas and pistols were forceful demanding 10k from traders in order to carry out their business at Klabu market 36.

In addition, he said that he had reported the matter to the Jogoo house control room and the police. On reaching the scene, the police resorted to ignore the situation.

Further he said his life was on danger and appealed for the county government and national government to intervene.
His alarm and report to the government to protect klabu Market 36 and his life struck the wall until he faced his assailants who repeatedly shot him dead on  the spot.

I retaliate his question before his assassination, where are we headed as a nation? Police brutal killings, assassinations and thievery is the tone of the day. Are we heading to the colonial times???
