Storyline.
Hon. Innocent Obiri, Bobasi Mp who vied more than 4 times before receiving sympathy votes to become the third Bobasi Mp, is on record the second time plotting to arrest Eric Michoma, commonly known as Punda Amechoka. Punda Amechoka who is a political critic and activist has been criticising Obiri's leadership terming him as incompetent. His criticism has included regional imbalance in Bobasi wards, nepotism, hatred, threats and misappropriation of public funds like youths empowerment funds, sports and culture, bursary funds, emergency kitty funds to name but a few.
His critics has become constantly unbecoming and Obiri has resolved in a plot to look for reasons that will attract his incarceration. The MAIN ONE being his social media criticism posts. Punda Amechoka has been the topic of discussion in a series of meeting that has been secretly held, in one of the sitting some individuals have been assigned to keep checking on the content of his posts so that they can get a post and term it misuse of social media as a reason behind his arrest. An indication that Innocent Obiri has become aggrieved and he is secretly looking for Punda Amechoka like a rattling snake. In addition, they are planning to hire a lawyer to handle Punda Amechoka's case the moment they arrest him.
The plot to arrest Punda Amechoka comes the second time after the Innocent Obiri reported Punda Amechoka to Nyangusu police station in connection to the article Punda Amechoka had posted exposing how Obiri had misappropriated 20m that was in the CDF kitty account when he was elected as Bobasi Mp. When Cyprian, Is Nyakundi contacted him over the same, he disconnected his call without saying a word.
I may not know whether people were blinded to elect Innocent Obiri as Bobasi Mp, but what I know, he has broken the record by being egocentric, nepotistic, incompetent and the likes. Arresting Punda Amechoka is daylight conning backwardness! This change Bobasi were after has turned to a graveyard of continued shedding of tears because for sure, Bobasi is slowly retrogressing, and loosing her resources under the involvement and the watch of Obiri Momanyi. Now i wonder, is this the change you were after?
